The husband has good ideas…sometimes. This was not one of them. Boo.

Dead Man Walking.
I am a Mother, and the captain of our funny little ship. With two young kids and a third constantly being contemplated, I am the queen of accumulating piles and stepping on Legos. I am a night owl, who is forever exhausted. I am a perfectionist, who has perfected the art of procrastination. I am forever trying to get back to my cute, young self, and am a genius at failing at it. I am a great wife, and an even better friend. If you can make me laugh, I may follow you around for awhile. If you know Colin Firth, I’m moving in. Also, I am easily bribed with a strong latte, so keep that in your back pocket.

OMG – small confined areas = someone else’s problem in my house. I get anxiety just looking & thinking off crawl spaces.
Tara
I’m okay with the size of the space, I just don’t want to encounter anything MOVING in the space.
looks like my basement! i hate it when hubby’s all of a sudden decide to do something like this on a sunday of all days!! good luck
Thanks!! I went to get the kids ready for bed and found him asleep on the couch??? I’m going to kick his ass!
Oh WOW! And I thought I had some serious pack-ratting trouble! Kick that dude off the couch and put him TO WORK! lol.
(don’t really kick him, unless you want to – of course. hee hee)
Oh my goodness! lol We live in a townhouse, one car garage, no basement…a car has never been parked in the garage, lol
That is impressive! Nice job!
Tell you what you need. A good move. Helped us clear out a TON ‘O crap! ; )
I said so too!!! It was quickly quashed as a possible way out of this crap war.
Oh my gosh, lady… that is a huge crawl space!! About a year and a half ago, we sold our house and moved. In preparing to sell, we started getting rid of stuff and got that sick feeling in our stomach when we thought of all the dollar signs, too. It was a harsh reality.
If your extended family is doing all the giving, that may be why you can’t get rid of it. There’s an emotional attachment to receiving gifts.
The kids clothes are easy. Give them to a shelter. There are so many kids that are in messed up situations because of their parents. They deserve to at least have nice clothes.
Hmmmm… maybe we SHOULD get the TLC people out to you… this would make a great episode!
The shelter donation is a great idea – the only reason something like that hasn’t happened yet is I’m still pondering whether I will have another child.
Um WOW. Enjoyed your tweets about it this weekend; I was even going to mail you my taser.
Okay, wow. I can’t hear the audio so I’m guessing this is your basement, and you’re going to clean it out? Oh, God. Good luck.
