The Skeleton and the Butterfly

by MARIA on April 13, 2010

We went to a local home show on the weekend. It was kind of sad really – definitely not what you would get in a bigger city. However, they did have a face painting booth, and the kids were thrilled. So we waited in line so they both could get their faces painted. They also got a helium balloon, and I bought them each a bag of chips.

On the way to the car, our 6 year old said, “Face paint, a balloon, AND chips?! Good day!”

It’s the little things.

I wouldn’t of guessed that they just came from a home show but as long as they’re happy that’s all that matters right?

Nice paint on those kiddos! I’ve seen some places offer face paint that is nothing more than a little dinky half baked thing on the cheek. THAT’s face painting right there, what your kids got. That IS a good day!

Such little bundles of cuteness!

I was going to say – whoever was at the face painting booth really did an awesome job! The sad part is always washing it off :(
