Hello. My name is Maria
(HI MARIA!)
and I’m a cardigan addict.
It’s a serious affliction – to my husband’s wallet.
Need proof?
In the last two days, I’ve bought 7 cardigans.
I bought 4 of the exact same cardigan from The Gap, but in different colors.

EXHIBIT THREE:
Of course, I also have at least 30 more cardigans hanging in my closet and stuffed into my drawers. Yes, most are black. No I’m not trying to win the lamest Guiness Book of World Records record, I swear.
Cardigans.
Cardigans make the world go round.
Hug a cardigan today!
My other sweater is a cardigan.
Brought to you my the association of cardigan freaks.
And yes, since you ask, my affliction is genetically acquired.
My mom wears a cardigan EVERY SINGLE DAY. She owns one million cardigans.
She IS the Guiness Book of World Records holder for Most Cardigans Ever Bought By A Sane Person.

I think I’ve moved on from my obsession with my own clothes to kids’ clothes. For example, even while perusing your cardigan selection (and they’re lovely, might I add), I’m eying your daughter’s dress. SO CUTE – the girl and the dress. I want!
The dress is from Gap Kids and the girl is from my womb. Womb girl is all mine.
Now she says- bought by a SANE person…..
Isnt she using that term loosely? LOL
The way i see it is if you like something buy a bunch of them… like me and flip flops for example.
Same here. Hides my arms. I never saw the value of a short-sleeved cardigan until after I had kids and got all jiggly.
Well at least you displayed three varieties. The sleeved, half sleeve, and sleeveless. I like the ass covering aspect of them. I just bought one in black myself recently. Which is odd because it’s supposed to be 95 today. Anything to cover the rear I suppose.
Yes, the ass covering aspect is KEY to the genius of a good cardigan.
This is totally me! I have a million cardigans!!
Whenever I come homw from shopping, my husband always asks me how many cardigans I bought. I can’t help it! By the way, your little girl is a doll!
Wait…you just called your mother “sane.”
Are you ill?
Not all mothers are as crazy as yours. True Story.
I don’t own a single cardigan. Can we still be friends? Or alternatively, take me shopping for some?
Oh, and I don’t mean an alternative to friendship – I mean an alternative to me not having any. Yeah.
At least no one has to wonder what to get you for Christmas.
Love cardigans
But don’t own many… Hmm….
I do not own one cardigan. I think I need to remedy this.
Wow, I think I own like, one cardigan. Wait, maybe two.
You need some color in your life.
I have so many cardigans it’s shameful, but I keep buying more. I’m rarely cold, but I am chubby. I wear one nearly every day.
Well, now I know who to call if I need to borrow a cardigan.
Which ones are from the Gap? I am looking for one to bring to BlogHer.
I need a lightweight, 3/4 sleeve with a flowy front, no buttons. Black or cream.
Hey Crystal,
The 4 cardigans in the first pic are from The Gap – they are full sleeve, but you could easily roll them up. The second pic has tops from Urban Outfitters, and the third is from a store called R.W. & Co. Old Navy has some cute ones right now too, with a half sleeve.
Forget the sweaters. I just think your little girl’s hair and smile are so cute! LOVE.
Hello,
My name is Lisa and I’m a cardigan addict…and a sweater addict.
I LOVE cardigans. I can cover up in the morning when taking the kids to school (with no bra yet) and cover up my love handles ( :
