Day Two is all about what I love about myself. I realize it might be sad to admit this, but this one was harder to write than Day One and what I hate about myself. So so wrong.
It’s not that I don’t like anything about myself, I’m just not that person that would sit down and write about it. So as I sat here staring at the screen instead (ability to stare at things for long periods of time – there’s one for the love list!). In my infinite wisdom (holy crap people, that’s two!), I tweeted about it tonight and some of my sweet friends on Twitter let me know what they loved about me. SO I thought I would share their thoughts:
- @toywithme – Start with your skin, it’s gorgeous and flawless. (It is super flawless – in the dark (woo! that’s another one!))
- @Finola – I love your sense of humour and your writing and your taste in TV shows. (I am a bit of a tv show ho – #4!!)
- @KouklaKim – I can. Your sense of humor. I love it! ♥ (she’s smart – I recognize brilliance! #5 baby!)
- @agentninety9 – oh come on, you are awesome, you can think of something! (I recognize awesomeness too! #6!)
- @OKtobeWEIRD – at the very least @BOREDmommy has great hashtags, always! (I do enjoy a good hashtag – holla #7)
- @chancesmommy @BOREDmommy is the one woman comedy show. This gal is funny as hell! (I do believe she was drinking when she tweeted this)
- @LindseyJay I love that you’re hilarious. Or you can love that you have great friends. #ThatsMe (She’s braggy, no?)
- @Faiqa SERIOUSLY? How about that you’re warm, funny, very cool… You know this, no? You ARE digging for compliments, aren’t you?

Nadine (@scarbiedoll) went for my soul by mentioning my kids – that’s a mom for you.
Whenever my kids are funny, or sweet, or polite, or caring, or empathetic, I’d like to think that I had a little something to do with it. So, if I had to say the one thing that I truly love about myself, it would be the ability to see myself in the loves of my life – my children.
That’s what I truly love about myself.

You, my dear, are funny as hell! I really admire your wit. A lot of people think that they are witty and or funny, but you do it better than most anyone I have found!
I just read that and realized it could be misinterpreted! I haven’t had enough coffee yet! I meant a lot of people try to be funny and witty and they really aren’t! You do NOT have that problem! You are witty and extremely funny!

This is harder to do than I thought it would be honestly. My ‘love’ is so cheesy, yours is the best one I have read so far. Being able to see your good works through your children is the greatest thing. I am sure you see tons of love and kindness coming from yours. I know where they get it. xo
I’m so glad I could help you out, but honestly your warmth and humour that come through in your writing are very loveable, even more so than our shared love of Modern Family.
