What are the little things that make you smile every day?
For me, it’s:
- - my kids singing along to the Glee soundtrack in the car
- - watching my husband play with the kids
- - a new magazine and an iced latte
- - a good book
- - a gorgeous, brisk fall day
I could go on but just as important as experiencing those moments, is sharing them with others, as much as I can. I try my best to spread the smiles by acting silly to make the kids giggle, hugging and kissing them many times a day, putting little notes in their lunch packs as a special surprise. When I make eye contact with someone, stranger or not, I smile and almost always, they smile back. It’s really the little things that make all the difference between having a good day and having a great one.
The Snack Pack Smile Campaign is an initiative hoping to raise $20,000 to help Food Banks Canada in time for the holidays. Even in Canada, every single day, adults and children go hungry. Snack Pack has united with Food Banks Canada as a way to help raise some much needed funds. They need you! How can you help?
