I’m a total journal addict.

I can’t stop myself. Well, I can, but I don’t want to. If my husband asks, tell him it’s therapeutic or something.

They are all over the house, and most of them are untouched.

I actually find it very difficult to use the pretty journals – yes, I’m a weirdo.

This is my latest buy – the cover says it all.

Oh, I also have a slight obsession with lip gloss – but I have no problem using those.

And what may I ask, have you been hoarding?

I kinda hoard journals too. Actually, I’m a recovering journal hoarder. I used to journal pretty regularly, but I’ve stopped since I started blogging. Who has time to write anything down anymore anyway? I saw your latest journal at Chapters last week. I thought it was pretty awesome and my fingers sort of itched to pick it up and add it to my purchase pile. I resisted though.

2 MARIA June 20, 2011 at 7:59 pm: Congrats on being stronger than I am, although kind of regretting it – the kids having been asking me NON STOP – “What’s the F stand for, Mommy???” (It was so much easier to parent when the kids couldn’t read).

I am so happy to learn that I am not the only one who does this! I too have a pile of journals just sitting around looking pretty, and it takes a lot of will power to not buy the next pretty notebook that I see. However, in my case, my child has started filling some of my journals with her scribbles, and yes, it does take a bit of control for me to not snatch the book out of the kid’s hands.

I am totally a journal hoarder as well!! I buy them and NEVER use them! They are just to pretty to mess them up! I did purge them a few months ago but still have a ton!!!

Also lip gloss, and shoes, and post-it notes, i love those little things.

I have an obsession with journals too. I have loads of them half filled or a quarter filled. ITs sad…ooo that and post-it notes. WhyI need so many stinkin post it notes I dont know -but I got em!

I hoard journals, too. I really want to write one, feel like my writing has to be amazing to write in the pretty books, and the writing must stink if it’s in the cheeky notebooks. So I ignore them. So stupid.
Lately I’ve been buying PSE actions like nobody’s business and not doing too much with them.
