As a stay at home mom, I don’t actually miss many moments.
I’m with the kids ALL THE TIME.
But I was away on Tuesday, in Toronto for the #TweetMeetTO event I organized with Oh Baby Magazine.
And I missed it.
The four year old lost her first tooth. My four year called me Wednesday morning to tell me.
(Yes, she’s almost five, but I was still shocked when we discovered that she had a loose tooth at all).
I couldn’t believe it – I didn’t let on how upset I was but I cried like a baby when I hung up the phone.
At least she waited until I returned, to put the tooth under her own pillow instead of at YiaYia’s house where she was sleeping over while I was out of town.
First she loses a tooth, then she gets married. WHERE does the time go?

Oh my goodness is she adorable.
Thanks Jen.
My 4-year-old lost her first tooth on Sunday. Her dad missed it, but I was there. And I think her engagement party is next week.

Ahahahahaha. I know the feeling!!
She is so cute!!!
Thanks Sandy!!
I don’t know if you know this, but she’s GORGEOUS. I hate missing firsts and being a DIVORCED mom, I have plenty of opportunity to miss these things. Mine are 8 and 12, and it still hurts to miss out.
Thanks Angi.
I hate to miss a single moment. I was lucky to catch our daughter rolling over the first time and taking her first steps when I originally went back to work… So glad I’m a SAHM now! Seriously, they lose their teeth that early? I’m not ready for that!

Although she’s almost five – I was shocked too. Still kind of freaked.
