We had a fantastic weekend away in Toronto this past weekend, with the kids.
We went to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
I got to go to a great dinner at Volos Restaurant with some fab ladies celebrating Winterlicious and #DineWithAmex
We shopped, ate and Starbucked at the Eaton Centre.
We explored the Distillery District, and took an insane amount of pics.
We had the BEST lunch at Mezes on the Danforth – can’t wait to go back.
We stopped at our new favorite kids’ toy store, Silly Goose Kids!
And of course, IKEA is always our last stop on the way out of town.
It was a great time and a much needed break from our day to day.
What are your must sees when you’re in Toronto with the kids?

Looks like you had a great weekend. I like the idea of getting away right now, to break up the winter a little bit. I’ve never been to Toronto but it’s definitely on my list!
It’s just a great, fun place to visit. Tons to do!
A ride on the subway topped off by running up the down escalator at York Mills station is big city fun for my now-very-small-town boys, that and Chinatown The first time we went they thought we had dug a hole through the centre of the earth and come out on the other side when we parked underground and came up to the sidewalk vegetable and butchers stalls along Spadina.
