We stayed close to home this year and I’ve been trying to get some things done during the day, so thankfully the kids are at the age where they can amuse themselves if need be. March Break means I’m more lax about video games and tv watching, and the little angels are taking advantage for sure. The kids have been loving watching Netflix Canada – endless Spongebob episodes and discovering some great movies they’ve never seen.

Netflix has a great Just For Kids section, with movies and tv shows geared to kids up to age 12. We’ve discovered and watched some great movies on Netflix with the kids lately – A Monster in Paris and A Cat in Paris are some new favorites. At just $8 a month, this is such a great, affordable entertainment option that the entire family can enjoy.

I just watched Jack the Giant Slayer and was great! Also Life of Pi, I didn’t expect it to be so good but I was on the edge of my seat!

Most recent movie I saw in theatres was the Hobbit. really loved it as I am a huge fan of the book.

Last movie I saw on TV was the Book of Eli, I enjoyed this as well.

Most recent movie I saw wasn’t great. (cloud atlas) Just wasn’t what I was expecting. However, great movie I saw recently was Red Dawn. Was a pretty good action movie. Some nice looking fellas as well

We had a great experience for a birthday party at the movies. The service was fantastic. We say Escape from Earth. It was funny and little corny. Lots of laughs. The 3D was well done. At some point every body was reaching out to try to grab asteroids!!

I enjoyed watching Helicopter Canada. It is an older documentary made for the centennial of Canada. Amazing footage of our great nation…it’s wonderful to see the changes in my city.
